Reset your System with a Cleanse
It's Tuesday, Memorial Day weekend is officially over and now you sit back thinking about all the food you congested the past three days. You start feeling guilty about that extra helping of mac and cheese, knowing that summer is almost in full swing and that means summer body needs to be in full effect. Well, you can sit there and let the guilt consume you or you can reset your body with a cleanse.
There are a couple of ways you can rid your body of those unkind foods and achieve a better body. Eat only fruits and vegetables for 3-7 days or juicing for 2-3 days.
I've actually tried eating fruits and vegetables for three days and it was such an eye-opener for me. It was a lot of discipline because I was still craving other foods, but it made me become more in sync with my body. Once I stopped the cleanse after day 3 and ate something totally opposite of what I been eating those three days, something that I'm not a stranger to eating, my body wasn't happy and I felt it immediately with the first bite. While I was a little concerned that I may need to give up one of my favorite meals, I was also eager to know what kinds of foods I should feed my body more of and which ones I should avoid or eat less of.
Juicing is actually something I've never tried but many people turn to juicing to jump-start a healthy lifestyle or keep the lifestyle going. There are a lot of delicious recipes you can find online or if you don't have a juicer, you can always buy them bottled up at your local grocery store.
You can't go wrong with either choice, so stop wallowing and hit the reset button.
